Currently seeking Associate Veterinarian for full time employment. Benefits package would include buy in opportunity, health insurance, paid veterinary dues,and paid C.E. expenses. Our veterinarians are scheduled for an average of 42 hours per week. Our support staff is responsible for all of the technical aspects of the clinic such as placing I.V. catheters, taking x-rays, drawing blood, etc... This allows for the veterinarian to perform at an optimum level. We are a very team oriented clinic and like to get together three to four times a year with all of the staff and their significant others. Our veterinarians need to be motivated, competent, and compassionate. Benefits include a yearly allowance for C.E. classes, paid vacation, sick time, scrub allowance, veterinary services at a reduced rate, and health insurance. Skills must include but not limited to: restraint, blood draws, setting IV catheters, vaccine preperation, TPRs, radiography skills, surgery preperation and monitoring, prophylactic dental procedures, maintaining controlled drug and x-ray log, knowledge of dosages, knowledge of patient isolation protocols, maintaining quality patient care, be a team player, have a positive attitude, and hospital cleanliness.
